Interested In Hauling?

Awesome! Hauling trash is an important part of society and a great way to earn some honest pay. Anyone who can legally do the work is welcome to join us!

How It Works

  1. My name is Shawn and I am personally writing this to let you know that my main mission in this project is to create good work for people. I am committed to simple pricing that puts as much money in your pockets as possible while keeping this business running smoothly.

  2. You are the boss. You decide if and when you work. You can do this full time, part time, seasonally, or when you need extra money.

  3. I Forgot Trash Day is simply the technology solution. We create the marketplace for haulers and customers to work together with enough supply and demand to keep everyone happy and busy.

  4. We handle the payments. Customers pay us and we pay you after the drop-off is complete. This keeps the transaction digital and no-contact. Simpler for everyone. It also promotes good behavior. It is very important that every load goes to the correct disposal site.

How does the pay work?

The main driver of your pay is landfill fees. There is (almost always) a flat fee if 1 yard to drop-off at the disposal site. That means it is the same price whether you pickup one bin or ten bins.

You must pickup at least 2 bins to receive a landfill voucher. That is simply to cover the cost of dropoff.

Hamilton County, Ohio is our home site and we base our hauler pay as $5 per bin for I Forgot Trash Day and the disposal fees. Everything else goes to the hauler.

Hamilton County $22 disposal fee + $5 / bin IFTD. The rest goes to you.

1 bin - You earn $0 yet, no voucher. Its only 1 bin.

2 bins - You earn $8, voucher. Voucher valid for all subsequent bins during this trip

3 bins - You earn $23

4 bins - You earn $38

5 bins - You earn $53

6 bins - You earn $68 < Typical range per truckload

7 bins - You earn $83 < Typical range per truckload

8 bins - You earn $98 < Typical range per truckload

9 bins - You earn $113 < Typical range per truckload

10 bins - You earn $128 < Typical range per truckload

11 bins - You earn $143

12 bins -You earn $158

13 bins -You earn $173

14 bins - You earn $188

15 bins - You earn $203

16 bins - You earn $218

17 bins - You earn $233

18 bins - You earn $248

19 bins - You earn $263

20 bins - You earn $278

Now its not realistic to fit 20 bins in one trip. That is for the folks who are lucky enough to have a trailer as well. You should expect to fit 6 to 10 bins worth in an average pickup. Then make the dropoff, loop around and do another run. At a relaxed pace, you should easily have time for 3 to 5 runs per day with a short lunch.
