WHAT WE DO

It's in the Name

I Forgot Trash Day is a crowd-sourced trash pickup solution founded by Shawn Silvers in 2025. The premise is simple. This is an easy way for regular regular people and households to get rid of small amounts of trash when weekly pickup isn't the answer. One time service, so no commitments.

I Forgot Trash Day is ideal if you have an extra bin or two from the week or a big event. We also use this tool to help with a few other similar solutions like gasoline and paint removal which are both a big pain. No quotes or weird conversations. Request it online, a nearby hauler claims it and takes it away. When the job is done, I Forgot Trash Day pays the landfill and the hauler, making sure everything gets done correctly and ethically.

Our service is preparing for pilot around the Cincinnati region this spring 2026. Stay tuned for more

OUR MISSION

What are we trying to accomplish

Our mission is to make sure every American has trash service wherever and whenever they need it.

FOUNDING PRINCIPLE

What drives us

The whole reason we took on this massive project was to help people find a way to earn a decent living. We all know someone who could use a hand up and what better way than by offering valuable work?
