By using the I Forgot Trash Day platform (“the Service”), you agree to the following terms. These terms help ensure safe, reliable, and fair service for everyone.
1. What the Service Provides

I Forgot Trash Day connects you with independent haulers who pick up bagged household trash or small waste items placed at your curb or legal right‑of‑way.

Matching you with an available hauler

The Service does not include:

Entering your home, garage, or enclosed areas

Moving heavy items from inside your property

Hazardous waste removal

Large-scale junk removal or construction debris (unless explicitly offered in your area)

2. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a safe and successful pickup, you agree to:

Place all trash within the legal public right‑of‑way (generally within 5 feet of the road or curb).

Ensure all trash is bagged, tied, and secure. Loose items must be contained.

Avoid placing prohibited items such as hazardous waste, chemicals, medical waste, batteries, sharps, or anything illegal to transport.

Provide accurate information when placing an order, including location, type of waste, and quantity.

Ensure the pickup area is safe and accessible for the hauler.
-
Not request or arrange off‑platform services with haulers.
3. Payments

All payments must be made through the I Forgot Trash Day platform.

You may not pay haulers directly.

Prices shown at checkout are estimates; final charges may adjust based on actual volume or conditions.

Refunds or adjustments are handled through the platform, not directly with haulers.
4. Cancellations & Missed Pickups

You may cancel before a hauler is assigned at no cost.

If a hauler is already en route or arrives and the trash is not present, inaccessible, or non‑compliant, a fee may apply.

Repeated no‑shows or misuse may result in account suspension.
5. Safety & Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:

Ask haulers to enter your home or private structures.

Provide unsafe, leaking, or hazardous materials.

Harass, threaten, or behave disrespectfully toward haulers or staff.

Misuse the platform for illegal dumping or improper disposal.

Misrepresent the contents being disposed.
6. Independent Haulers

Haulers are independent contractors, not employees of I Forgot Trash Day.

The platform is not responsible for their personal conduct outside the scope of the service.

The platform verifies certain information (such as license and insurance), but you acknowledge that haulers operate independently.
7. Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Damage to items you leave at the curb

Delays caused by weather, traffic, or hauler availability

Actions or omissions of independent haulers

Disposal facility policies or fees

8. Customer Representations
By using the Service, you confirm that:

You understand that once a hauler picks up your trash, it becomes their responsibility and cannot be returned.
9. Account & Platform Use
